Ornate Machete With Engravings On Handle
The Falcata sword was used by the Iberian tribes and the Greek warriors.
This reproduction was made in the 20th century.
The sword is steel and the handle brass or bronze with engravings.
Measurements: Blade is about 20" long and overall the length is about 24".
Handle is about 2-1/2" at it's widest point.
Handle is about 2-1/2" at it's widest point.
Top of blade is about 0.178 inches thick.
On a scale this sword weights 2 lbs, 6.7 ozs.
There is slight give between the handle and blade.
Age and origin of this Sword/Machete are unknown to me. Please look at the
