The Immaculate are elite eunuch warriors bred and bred in Astapor, a slave trafficking town located on the southeast coast of Slave Bay on the Essos mainland. She successfully negotiates with the city’s rulers, the Good Masters, to secure 8000 soldiers, only to break the deal immediately after their purchase by ordering their newly acquired army to kill their former masters and free all the slaves they can find. After the sacking of Astapor, Daenerys grants them their freedom and allows them to choose between going to or joining it, as free men, in their quest to claim the Iron Throne of Westeros. Nobody leaves. The best-known Unsullied is Grey Worm, the chosen commander of Daenerys’ new army, who eventually becomes one of his chief advisors.
