Joining the acclaimed Toca series, the Black Mamba, is a new instrument destined to be extremely popular for several reasons, not least of which is the ascendancy of the Djembe as instrument-of-choice for drum circles and percussive gatherings. Furthermore, the elusive and intriguing tones inherent in traditional African instruments are all there in the new Toca African Djembe with Pro Bag and Head Hat.
Hand-crafted and highlighted with appropriate graphics, the Toca African Djembe is a subtle beauty, what with the juxtaposition of a black satin sheen and fine expertly-chiseled imagery that bares the natural wood. And that's only the exterior.
The Toca African Djembe is hand-carved from environmentally friendly Balinese mahogany, felled from special replenished forests and subject to regular government inspection. Once fashioned into the familiar shape and hollowed out, the Toca African Djembe is treated with up to 20 coats of teak oil, which penetrates, protects and preserves the wood. It is only after this complete preparation that the unique satin black and contrasting folkloric graphics are applied. Specially selected natural goatskin heads, treated with black dye, are seated and traditional tensioning systems are fitted. Each Toca African Djembe is hand strung with durable Alpine rope that features braided cores-meaning stretching is kept to a bare minimum. At this point, they are tested and earn membership in the elite Toca Black Mamba Series.

RETURNS
Within 30 days of receipt of your shipment, you may return an item for a refund. Products must be returned with all original contents, including any and all manuals, warranty cards and outer packaging. Please contact us for a Return Authorization with instructions to send the product back. A restocking fee will apply if the item is not returned in original and new condition with all manufacturer packaging and contents intact. Outbound shipping may be free or discounted with purchase, but if the item is returned, original shipping charges may be deducted from the refund.
Exceptions to our Return Policy
Any used gear (items with signs of wear and tear), Software (this may also include hardware that includes software) Sound Cards, Expansion Boards, DVD/DVD-ROM's that have been opened or no longer in shrink wrap are non-returnable. Microphones, USB and Firewire audio or MIDI interfaces will incur a restocking fee. Musicbooks, Headphones, Cables (instrument, snake, mic, speaker, digital, MIDI, studio, adaptors), DJ and Stage Lighting Equipment, any item with saliva contact (harmonicas, reeds, recorders, mouthpieces, etc.), Electronic/acoustic drum sets, and any percussion instruments with scuffs/markings from being struck are non-returnable. Products with any scratches/markings from installation of rack mounts may incur a restocking fee. CD Duplicators/Tape Duplicators/DAT Recorders/Recording media, Accessories (ear pieces, open strings, drumsticks, drumheads, cymbals, tubes, pick-ups, power adapters), RAM Memory & Hard Drives, Components/Drivers/Tweeters, eBay Auction Items, registered products and used products are non-returnable.
Please inspect all contents in package and contact us within 14 days of receipt if an item is defective, damaged or missing from your shipment. The replacement product will ship as soon as it is available by the same shipping service that was selected for the original purchase. You will be responsible for all shipping costs on returned items that are tested to be in normal working condition.
