Sword Knights Templar, Blunt Practice, SK-BSword Knights Templar, Blunt Practice, SK-B
This beautiful Templar sword features a spring-hardened steel blade that was tempered to a Rockwell hardness of approx. 48-50 HRC and is adorned with three pattée crosses. It has full nipples and is riveted to the knob. The most complete wide distinctive extends almost to the tip of the blade, which not only provides great flexibility, but also reduces the weight of the knight’s sword with one hand.
The guard of the cross is forged in steel and has engraved the Latin inscription IN HOC SIGNO VINCES (Engl.: In this sign, you will win). This phrase, which is said to have appeared in the cross-shaped sky to the first Christian Roman emperor Constantine the Great during the battle against Majencio (312 a.C.), is today the motto of the American Masonic order of the Knights Templar. .
The leather-lined wooden handle is topped with a flat disc-shaped steel knob (or wheel knob) engraved on both sides with a Templar cross motif. The beautiful wooden core sheath is covered in leather and comes complete with a rolled-up carrying belt around it.
The dull edges of 2 mm thick and the rounded tip of the blade make this armed sword ideal for combat recreation, on-stage fighting or sparring.
