Surdo Contemporanea 24x22

Description

I am selling a good used Contemporanea Brazilian Surdo .   Diameter is 22 inches and the height is 24.   This is a great for a samba group or a any other type of percussion group.   One side of the head is vinyl and mylar  plastic to give it that low bottom end and the other side is mylar plastic.  The Surdo has a natural finish and does have some scuffs and dents.   I originally had the 18 and the 20 but those are already sold.   This can be mounted on with a strap or harness.
These brazilian surdo's are very hard to come by cause they have to be imported from brazil and the shipping is very expensive.
There is an area on the shell that almost got punctured through the wood.  I managed to fix the shell when it actually belonged to a customer of mine about 1 year ago.   I posted some pictures so u can see for yourself.  It is the 6th picture  with the flashlight showing .
The actual size of the shell only  is 23 1/2 height X 22 diameter.   Contemporanea  classifies it as a 24 height x 22 diameter
The length from top to bottom with both the head and rims on is 24 1/2
The actual weight of this Surdo is right around 16 lbs.
