RYOBI introduces the 15 Amp 10 in. Sliding Compound Miter Saw and 18-Volt Cordless ONE+ Drill/Driver, Circular Saw Kit. This saw features a 15 Amp, 4,600 RPM motor and has a 12 in. cross cut capacity. The LED Cutline Indicator and work-light illuminates material to help improve accuracy of the cut and visibility. The extended miter range from 47° left and right provides versatility for all DIY and professional projects by accommodating a wide variety of cuts. The ONE+ Drill/Driver features a 1/2 in. heavy duty single sleeve keyless chuck with 24-position clutch to match your drilling and driving needs. The ONE+ Circular Saw features front pommel handle for 2-handed operation and a left side blade for better cutline visibility. The included batteries and charger are compatible with all RYOBI ONE+ tools. Backed by the RYOBI 3-Year Manufacturer's Warranty, this kit includes the 15 Amp 10 in. The saw was ready to use out of the box with a nice sharp blade. The price was good and it was on sale as well. Looks like it will work nicely in the shop for years to come. It makes very accurate cuts since it has a light which creates a shadow of the blade right on the wood.

I purchased this saw mainly because the 12" double compound saw I was using weighed 71# and it was a beast to move around and set up. I never owned any Ryobi tools but after reading the reviews on this one, I decided to buy it. Right away I put it through it's paces reframing my 2 garage doors which had been eaten away by termites prior to us buying our home. The drop shadow feature took some getting used to and it was not nearly as smooth operating as my old H***chi but it did the job well. I think it is well suited to the homeowner/hobbyist and is fine for light construction, but I do not think I would trust it for heavy construction or daily use. Having said that, it does cut true right out of the box and the fencing and dust collection is pretty good. It has plenty of power to cut through 2x4's, 2x8's and 2x10's. I used the blade that came with it for garage door trim but it is not a great blade and should probably be replaced with a better quality one. So far I am happy with this saw, especially for the price, and would have no problem recommending it.

How did I go so long without this saw! I have been in a build of a Log Cabin and doing most of the finish work myself. I happened to be watching a show where the sliding saw was being used, began searching and saw they were pretty pricey and then found this saw on sale at Home Depot and what a game changer this saw is with the LED line cut guide, smooth action and so far with about 1000+ cuts, it is as accurate and smooth today as day 1! Buy this saw!

I bought this saw and the Ryobi saw stand. I read the manual carefully first and learned what to look for and check for adjustment before using. For a first time buyer it was a bit intimidating at first but all went well. My first cut was a bit off the mark but figured it was my fault not the saw's. Subsequent cuts were on the mark and the laser cut marker is a wonder. The shadow falls on the wood exactly where the saw cuts. After a few cuts I was handling the saw like a pro. The stand is a perfect match for the saw and is highly recommended. I hooked my shop vac up to the saw dust shoot and it catches most of the saw dust making clean up easy.

The saw's maiden voyage was to build a bridge using pressure treated lumber in varying widths up to 9 1/4" and thicknesses up to 3 1/2". It handled it all flawlessly. I picked this up after doing some research on baseboard and molding installation. I am doing all the floors in my house and this has been invaluable to be able to cut not only long pieces of trim but also stair treads. This is definitely not my first Ryobi purchase but it is only my second Ryobi saw. Well worth the money and much cheaper then what it would have cost for flooring installation.

This miter, and the matching stand sold separately, are a serious diamond in the rough. Using it to make cuts for installing baseboard trim and it is so user friendly and is calibrated to make great cuts. This is my first ever miter saw. This looks great. So far, it's been just a month or so and so I am not being able to provide a long-term review. However, this product seems good. I had expected LASER cut line indicator but this particular model (TSS103) comes with a LED light and the cut-line indicator is in fact the shadow of the blade. If Ryobi could provide more information on why they used LED in this model and the accuracy of this type of cut line indicator as opposed to LASER that would be great to know. But so far, personally I don't mind having LED instead of LASER cut line indicator. Overall, I would recommend this product to others.
