In addition to the tones of the Okedoda taiko, this single unit can be used to play a variety of other taiko tones, such as the Nagadoda taiko and Shimedaiko.
As with wadaiko, which has a wide range of expressive power, each tone varies depending on the strength and position of the tapping. You can also import your own tones into the unit, which opens up new possibilities for performance expression depending on your ideas.
The three-layered mesh head of the striking surface combines natural striking comfort with a high level of quietness. You can also practice at home with the built-in "ground beating" and metronome.
It is battery-powered and can be disassembled for portability, making it easy to enjoy playing the taiko in a variety of locations.
