Two ways to control speed, set the maximum speed on the control panel, and/or control the speed with the variable speed trigger giving you full control your work.  With the exactness of the most precision trigger speed control that we have ever used, its as if the machine were part of your hand. The compact size and ergonomic design adds to that control especially in tight places, radiuses and contours.  No cord or air-hose to worry about means your concentration is on your work.
