Description
The Pope Clemente III (1187 – 1191) promoted the III Crusade in which three kinas took part: Frederick I Barbarossa of Germany, Phillip II of France and Richard I Lionheart of England. Fredick received his name from the colour of his hear, he was brave and valiant. After defeating many enemies’ armies he was the first one to arrive to the walls of Jerusalem but he could not fulfil his conquest because he died drowned in a river on June 10th, 1190. His two allies, Richard and Phillip had to come back to their countries, the conspiracy of John Landless and the conflicts between France and England made their return necessary.Overall: 110 cm/45 inches
