    "son doble" - "vazada" - "skeleton style
    This style of caixa is used by many of the top samba school baterias in Rio, including Salgueiro and Mocidade.  It is especially effective when players in the "caixa em cima" technique (https://youtu.be/J5z2AS0kOVo).  The sound is very dry (lots of snare sound, little resonance) and very loud.  It really cuts about the sound of surdos and repiques.
    It is manufactured in Rio in the neighborhood of Padre Miguel, home of Mocidade.
