The blade of the Tanto Kami is hand-forged in K120C powder steel, folded, and has a long O-Kissaki, a hand-engraved Horimono «Fudo» and a Bo-Hi. There the folding process produces an extraordinary surface grain (Fairy) along the leaf, which by the pronounced hard line (Hamon) is still emphasized.
For Tsuka, the best quality was used for skin care, and sageo is of the highest quality. Japanese silk fabric. Fuchi, Kashira, Kojiri, Koiguchi and Kurigata consist of blackened Bronze with relief and selected details in copper, silver and gold. The Fuchi proves that Guardian Spirit of the Shinto religion (Kami).
The Habaki consists of two parts: a copper lower section and a golden brass upper section.
The Saya is deeply lacquered and offers a black section in front of the opening, which mimics the low winding.
To protect the samurai knife, the Tanto Kami comes with a suitable cloth cover and a traditional Japanese sword care set.
