China’s famous Shaolin Temple is known for its associations with Chinese martial arts and especially with Shaolin Kung Fu, which requires a deep dive into the patterns of Buddhism.
Hanwei has now made, with the approval of the Shaolin Temple, a sword that the philosophical combines the patterns of Zen with the physical form of a Kung Fu Jian and therefore represents the unity of martial arts and philosophy.
This sword embodies the spirit of the Shaolin Temple as well as its martial arts traditions in a simple yet elegant design.
The blade of the Shaolin Jian is forged in carbon steel, hardened and polished. The detailed fixtures feature lotus flower patterns as well as the Shaolin temple logo made of stainless steel with an antique look.
Both the pod and the handle are made of bamboo, which illustrates the spirit of Zen.
