    Description

    Hanwei - Shamshir Persian sabre
    Hanwei - Shamshir Persian sabre
The Shamshir, which translates as Lions Paw, is a Persian saber. It’s a cutting weapon designed to cut.
Due to its heavily curved blade it makes it sturdy and its cuts more effective, but pushing is almost impossible. It was produced in many different countries such as India, the Balkans, Russia and Turkey.
In addition to his role as a weapon, the shamshir used to be a ceremonial sword.
This Shamshir features a sharp blade made of high carbon steel. The spherical and curved knob along with the handle are made of two pieces of wood and are attached to the spike.
The sheath is made of leather-lined wood and provides a steel lid, a mouth and transport rings.
