    Hanwei’s basket-handled sword is designed for the re-enacter. The basket is identical to the edged version, but the blade is not sharp, with 0.06 cm safety edges and rounded tips, complying with the combat rules of many recreation societies. The blade is made of 1065 high carbon steel, hardened to 50HRC, reducing edge notches to acceptable levels while providing strength and protection against fragility. The case is finished in matte black, ready for owner customization if desired.
