Description
The triskele is an ancient and powerful symbol. It has been used to represent the 3 fates and the 3 stages of the goddess. The symbol and adorning knotwork has been painted to represent woad, the blue paint the Celts and Picts would color themselves in. The frame is 13" hardwood, the face and lacing is cow rawhide. The lacing passes through and is anchored by an iron ring. The persimmon wood beater is "hammer style " and burned with matching patterns. See pics for details and thanks for looking.Skillet Fork Aett
