Equatorial Wedge for Celestron NexStar SLT Telescopes

This wedge will allow you to perform polar alignment of your Celestron SLT scope!
I
t is designed to enable long-exposure piggy-back astroimaging with the super-portable Maksutov SLT telescopes made by Celestron.
I manufacture this stiff yet lightweight equatorial-mount wedge using aluminum extrusion and steel shaft parts achieving a total weight
under 2Kg (aprox. 4Lb).
It is adjustable for latitudes of 0 to 90º with engraved scales on the sides and incorporates fine adjustment knobs for Azimuth and Latitude adjustment.
This wedge specifically fits Celestron SLT tripods and Celestron SLT scope mounts, it does not fit SE mounts or other mounts made
by Celestron.
I can prepare special adapters to fit this wedge on other mounts and tripods, just ask!
Photos show a NexStar 127SLT Maksutov telescope mounted on this wedge using a standard SLT tripod.
The wedge is fixed to tripod with a center 1/4" bolt and holds the scope mount with another center 1/4" bolt.
CNC machined from 6061 anodized aluminum and 1045 steel.
