Instructions
Remove rust if necessary. Sand surface smooth and then clean with Eastwood PRE. Only apply on dry, dust free substrates. Before activating, shake can vigorously for 2 minutes. Next, take red button from cap and turn the can upside down to attach the button to pin on bottom of the can. With cap on, place the can upside down on a firm surface. Press red button with the ball of your hand until stops. Paint is now activated. Shake for 2 minutes before spraying. 2-5 spray passes will build a 4-28mil thickness dry film coating. Approximate can coverage is 2.7 sq. ft. at approximately 8 mil thickness. Keep the nozzle 10 inches away from the substrate. 68-70°F: Allow 5-10 minutes of flash time between coats. Allow 1-2 hours drying time before sanding. When coating is fully cured, perform first round of sanding with P120-P180 sandpaper. Once desired rough finish is achieved, finish sand with P240-P280 sand paper. Do not wet sand. Dry sand only. Once activated, this coating has about a 2-6 hour pot life. Higher temperatures can shorten the pot life as lower temperatures can extend pot life.
