    Real functional sword. Suitable not only for kata (exercise shapes) or Iaito (drawing exercises), but also for Temeshigiri (cutting tests). For cutting tests, a very high quality blade, sharp and containing cuts is required. The Akito blade is made of 1045 carbon steel hardened with clay with real hamon (hardening line).
    The overall design is very robust to avoid injury. Thus, the blade is continuous almost until the end of the handle and is secured by two Mekugis. A beautifully lacquered wooden eye cover (Kurigata and Shito-Dome) is within range of supply.
