Different applications desire different pipetting and tip sealing technologies. The unique CyBio Tip Sealing Technology for multichannel pipetting heads in the microplate formats 96, 384 and 1536 – sealing each tip head’s flange against an elastomer mat – is the basis for high precision and repeatability. Centering pins guarantee exact positioning of the complete set of tips to the pipetting head and thus to the labware. This reliably enables liquid transfers over a broad volume range and includes labware with small well diameters like 1536-well microplates.
This tip sealing technology plays a major role when using the CyBio TipTrays in the CyBio SELMA and in the CyBio Well vario in 96, 384 and 1536-well microplate formats. Additionally, the CyBio FeliX multichannel heads 96 and 384 benefit from this technology by automatic loading of the respective CyBio RoboTipTrays. CyBio TipTrays as well as CyBio RoboTipTrays are available for different microplate formats, volume ranges and in different tip qualities.
