Manufactured from medical grade polystyrene for strength. Corning 96-Well Clear Bottom Black Polystyrene Microplates permit direct microscopic viewing. For fluorescent and luminescent assays; ideal for performing cell-based and molecular assays.

Black 96-well polystyrene microplate has clear flat bottom wells that are 60% thinner than conventional plates, resulting in lower background fluorescence and enabling readings down to 340nm
Non-sterile microplate has a total well volume of 360L and a recommended working volume of 75 to 200L: ideal for immunoassays
High binding surface binds medium (greater than 10kD) and large biomolecules that possess ionic groups and/or hydrophobic regions; binding capacity is approximately 400 to 500ng IgG/sq cm
Designed to reduce well-to-well crosstalk during fluorescent assays; can be used for both top and bottom reading instruments
