Cold Steel - Wakizashi Tonbo
The tonbo wakizashi leaf is hand-forged and folded in powder steel, with a medium-length kissaki (chu).
The saya is a deep black lacquer with golden dragonflies. High quality ray skin is used in tsuka. Tsuka-ito is made of premium violet Japanese cotton. The tsuba is moulded by stainless steel experts and has a patina similar to blackened iron, with gold and bronze details and exquisite decoration with dragonfly scenes. The silk sage complements this piece and is elegantly woven in dark blue and black. The fuchi and kashira are black with bronze and brass details, and the kojiri, koiguchi and kurikata are polished buffalo horn. The habaki is a brass construction in one piece.
