Cold Steel - Colichemarde Sword
The Colichemarde emerged on the sword scene in the late 17th century, during the decline of the stoque and the emergence of the small sword. Its uniquely shaped blade that was extra wide in the fort but then dramatically sharpened to a thin needle tip allowed the sword to be used to stop or oppose even the heaviest weapons without breaking, but remains light enough to be fenced at lightning speed.

Cold Steel’s interpretation® of this leaf faithfully reflects the historical original, from the extra wide forte to the super sharp tip. The handle features a decorative double layer protector, complete with finger loops and knuckle loop, while the handle is completely wrapped in wire and covered with a matched knob.
