The ArmaDee is the greatest thing to happen to outdoor cooking since the discovery of charcoal! Taking the time-proven design of our sun, the ArmaDee radiates heat to all corners of the grill thereby eliminating hot-spots and cold spots, allowing the cook to close the lid and walk off! You can cook burgers, steak, chicken, or brats at the same time while watching the game or talking with friends. Cook one side for 20 minutes, then the other side for 10 minutes for tender and moist meats without burning or charring.
Will soon pay for itself in saved charcoal and overcooked meat!
The bonus in using the ArmaDee is that for the first time, you can use the charcoal grill without producing harmful carcinogenic compounds.
According to the MD Anderson Cancer Center and the American Cancer Society: Charring, burning or
grilling
meat, poultry and fish over high temperatures causes Heterocyclic Amines (HCAs) and Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PACs) to form. These cancinogenic compounds can damage a person's genes, raising the risk for stomach and colorectal cancers. By reducing the temps at the grill by more that 50%, that danger goes away and The ArmaDee
does just that! Don't grill again without the ArmaDee. Eat well and protect your loved ones.
This model of The ArmaDee is made of 28 ga. food grade Stainless Steel and designed especially for kettle type grills, measures 17" in diameter, however, it will work with rectangular grills as well just as long as it is 17" in one direction and longer in the other.
The ArmaDee has a D-ring attached by welds and enables handler to lift off with fork or gloved hand, however there should be no need to if coals are burning well when applied. Also, the outer edge is beaded for strength and to protect sandaled or bare feet should it be dropped.
Instructions:
With vent open at bottom of grill, heap charcoal in middle, add starting fluid then light.
Check after 10 minutes and after coals are burning well and appearing white-hot, knock the pile of charcoal flat with ArmaDee, then cover coals with ArmaDee.
Put grill in place and stack on the meat and vegetables.
Apply grill cover with vent wide open.
After 20 minutes, turn meat and remove vegetables. Walk away and don't worry or open lid.
Open after 10 minutes or so and serve your friends and family the most evenly cooked, and tastiest BBQ you have ever produced!
For the healthiest chicken, remove skin first (except wings) and baste with Italian salad dressing before cooking.
When you receive the ArmaDee, it will be shiny and new, but after some use, it will look black and crusty. That's because it has been working hard for you--taking the harsh 400+ degree fire and shedding from coals the dripping fat from meats. The fat drains to the ashes while some forms char on ArmaDee. That char is carcinogenic and should not be eaten. You won't see it on your meats because it is attracted to the hottest thing around: The ArmaDee. You will notice the upward dimpled holes, they have the purpose to direct dripping grease to the edge, then to the ashes.
Times mentioned are suggested, you may choose to adjust. Most likely, you can't burn the meat, but given time, you can dry it out. You will agree that this is the best thing to ever happen to grilling outdoors.

I recently received this comment from the owner of the first ArmaDee I sold on eBay: "Good morning. I got to use the ArmaDee with the Tip Top Temp on my Weber kettle and it was amazing. The temp chart was very flat by the IGrill Bluetooth thermometer and the spatchcock chicken broke in half when I went to pick it up, it was so tender. Can’t wait to try on a pork roast this weekend. Really enjoying the ArmaDee and have recommended it to my friends." R.Lopez
And another: "Had my first grilling experience tonight with the ArmaDee. Really well-balanced chicken! Good Stuff! Temp regulated between 200-250. Normally 400ish." Chad.
