Bastard sword, hand and a half with sheathBastard sword, hand and a half with sheath
Bastard swords are swords of the late Middle Ages and the Renaissance whose length exceeds that of the sword of one hand. They are mostly hand and middle swords, i.e. hand and middle swords.
This reconstruction is done entirely by hand. Straight, twisted quillons and knob are made of iron. The blade is continuous up to the knob and screwed there. The handle is wrapped with leather cord. The blade has a fuller pronounce which gives the sword great elasticity and lightness at the same time. The blade edge is not sharp.
The sword comes with a wooden sheath covered in leather, which is equipped with simple mouth and chape plates.
This is the regular execution of the bastard sword.
The same sword is also available in a battle-ready version, with a blunt blade and a rounded tip: Article No. 0116340206.
