Precision machined solid aluminum finder shoe base in matte black, for almost all Chinese and Japanese viewfinder holders, for the Witty 1 Tangent-attachment etc, fits all lens barrel radii.
The base forms two linear constraints on each tube radius of 130-400mm in diameter, which gives maximum stability.
There are two elongated holes on this base and a single countersunk hole for screws up to M5 in the middle.Two screws are on the on side of base. The spacing between the two screws is 24 to 41 mm.
The Vixen finder format the base has are widely used by others, such as Vi xen / Sky watcher / G SO / Cele stron / He lios / and many others.
The base fit SC telescope and other telescopes with 130-400mm diameter. The base also carries small guidance/CCD guider without any problem.
Description
The base can be used on telescope that do not themselves have a base,or be used in other different position on the telescope as a additional base. Please be sure to measure your hole spacing range is 24-41mm to ensure this will fit. The base is compatible with many standard finder brackets for 6x30 finders, 8x50 finders and some red dot finders and it has a variable radius and elongated holes which make it fit on almost all telescopes including Schmidt-Cassegrains(SCT).
