This listing is for the leather piece shown.    It is old.  The leather is dry and orange rubs off onto your hands.  The seams are practically all split.   There are a couple of tears, especially on the top flap area.   One side of the handle has ripped off, and the leather is fragile so the other side may be at risk as well.
But...
The previous owner, D. Scott Braddock, of Washington DC, has his name imprinted on this.   So it is looking for it's previous owner.
Typically Masonic and other decorated fraternity swords would fit in this.
This has been rolled as it is soft.  You can see the leather bending where rolled.   Will be shipped loosely rolled.
Excellent original early family and/or town genealogy, history, antique, collectible heirloom and/or ephemera.
