The typical research project will include searches of the

Family tree binders and family tree websites are available for an additional expense. If interested, please ask for more information. I also can work with Autosomal DNA tests and do DNA matching work.

Please remember that when you hire a professional genealogist, you pay them for their time doing the research and reports of what was found or not found. You are not paying for a specific outcome. I cannot and will not make promises that I can provide a certain outcome. I can only report what the records/sources indicate. And those records/sources may provide information that proves something other than what you may expect.
Vital Records:
Most records are obtained through online resources, any records ordered will only be ordered with the prior approval of the client. (Records not obtained online will result in extra charges for those records.)
Due to privacy laws in place, all vital records less than 75 years old that are not available online, but desired by the client, will have to be purchased by the client. Only direct family members can order such records under current laws. I will make recommendations where to get such records, as needed.
I will hold confidential any information you provide that is not already a matter of public record or public knowledge. I will treat with discretion, even if they are already matters of public record, issues that concern living persons, as well as the any items that you have specifically noted as sensitive. I will protect the privacy of all Raw DNA information shared to be transferred to other matching services. Otherwise, I retain the right to make further use of the results of research done at your request, with the exception of Raw DNA data.
Client Family Information:
To avoid charging for duplication work, please provide a duplicate copy of information that you, the client, have compiled on the person or family to be researched. And gedcom file or access to an online tree are the easiest way to do this. If neither are available, then you should share family group sheets or charts; religious affiliations; known places of birth, marriage, and death; other significant life events; military information; siblings; parents; etc.
This can be done be attaching the files into an email or allowing editor access to your online family tree.

You may make a limited number of personal copies as a “fair use” of the copyrighted files, but you agree that you will not otherwise publish or make multiple copies of the report for anything other than personal use without my written permission.
