1970 BAHAMAS PROOF & SPECIMEN FIRST DAY OF ISSUE OF THESE 2 ODD COINS EXACT ONES *SEALED *RARE ISSUED
(see pictures) This is a PNC cover of PROOF & SPECIMEN COINS 2 SEALED IN A COVER FROM THE FIRST DAY OF ISSUE OF THESE COINS SPECIAL PACKAGED plastic window covers bearing postmark from the first day these coins were issued, both GEM COINS, one a gem mirror cameo proof mintage of only 23,000 and one a specimen mintage of 28,000 made uncirculated, both almost 50 years old. Some beautiful toning on one, and both VERY RARE low mintages as above, both unusual shapes for coins, and even scarcer in this First Day Of Issue format, of which only about 1600 were originally made. They are brilliant super shiney and look very impressive. These are of extremely limited quantity and will always be in demand as if one is collecting the series of these coins, these were specially issued only, you need to have them, no large issue of regular coins were produce this year. These covers can be enjoyed as an item of Postal History and is a rariety in it's own right, also.
