Each skewer has twists at the handle which enhances and simplifies the cooking process. The twists are designed to fit on the lip of any grill for turning and positioning them at any desired angle for a more thorough cooking. The skewers are engineered to remain rigid and not bend under the weight of the meat. The twists trap heat in the body of the skewer while keeping the handle cool and easy to work with. The flat surface design prevents the meat from rotating on the skewer. There is a vast difference when cooking on thin round skewers vs. flat wide skewers. When the meat is also heated from inside as with the flat skewers because of their wide surface, the juices are locked inside and the meat cooks faster and is more flavourful.  This not only prevents raw meat consumption, but also traps the flavours inside each piece for delicious and well cooked results.
