This is one of the newest and greatest powders out there. PlasCoat can be used in any powder coating gun and functions just like regular powder coat but offers some amazing features.

Superior resistance to sun, salt and sea water. Plastic Coat can take anything mother nature can throw at it for life.

Excellent impact and sand abrasion resistance since it’s soft and pliable.

Premium quality, glossy appearance.  It is a 70 - 80 percent gloss.

Will not crack, chip, flake or fracture. Very durable and easily repaired with just a heat gun.

Low temperature performance to -94°F. It will not become brittle in cold weather.
·
Excellent adhesion to steel, iron and aluminum. This stuff sticks to everything!

No requirement for a primer. Any base metal will work.
·
Approvals for contact with food and drinking water. This is used on dishwasher racks, metal utensils, and any other metal items that are in contact with food or water.
Extensive testing by the manufacturer shows a working life of OVER 70 years and the Swedish Corrosion Institute, a global leader in testing, certifies that this powder will last 5 years in HEAVY industrial and marine environments. In short, this powder LASTS.
Using this powder
does not require
any special gun, oven, pre-treat, or knowledge.
This works in any powder coating gun
the same way every other powder works. The only difference is it doesn’t thermoset which means in order to cure this powder in your oven all you have to do is heat it until it melts smooth and you’re done.
Which leads us to another great feature of Plastic Coat. Since all we have to do is heat it until it melts and it’s done, if anything sharp ever cuts it or gouges it, all you have to do is put it back in your oven, or grab a heat gun, and melt it again and it will go right back to its original look.
Recommended thickness is 2.5-3.5 mil. This powder will work good heavy. Heat at 400°F until melted smooth.
